After besting his brother Tsavong went back to Master Nom to continue his training. When he entered his masters compound he once again found it empty with Nom talking to him again. <Congratulations Tsavong, All hail the chosen twin. But unfortunately for you the easy part is over now it gets difficult. I'm going to turn you into the greatest warrior the world has ever seen. It only gets harder from here, and YOU CAN'T EVEN FIND ME!!!!!> That was how Tsavong's hunter training continued.

One of the first lessons that Master Nom taught Tsavong after he defeated his brother was how to blend into the environment. A true hunter can blend himself into the environment seamlessly, and can do so in an instant.
Master Nom demonstrated this to Tsavong by telling Tsavong to bow to his master. When Tsavong raised his head his master was gone. < As you can see, Hunters do not need time to become one with their surroundings. The trick is to listen to what the world is telling you. The more you know about your surroundings the better you can blend. Now listen to what this place is telling you.> Tsavong closed his eyes and concentrated one the courtyard around him. he could hear the trees rustling in the wind and some critters skittering in the brush. None of it told him how to blend, but then in the back of his mind he heard a small voice telling him to hide in the trees. So he listened to it and hid in the one part of the trees that made him completely invisible.
< Well there you go. Let me guess, you heard a voice in you head telling you to hide in those trees.>< Yes, I did. How did you know?>< Thats the voice of the world speaking to you. Every hunter hears that. The more you get to know the world the more you can hear its voice, and the faster you can get in touch with it. Now, let us work on getting in touch with that voice.>

From that day on, every morning began with meditation. Master Nom and Tsavong would sit in the middle of the courtyard and listen to the voice in their heads. At first, it would take Tsavong a couple of minutes to hear the voice. A few days into the training he heard the voice ask him a question. < Master Nom, I heard a question being asked of me.>< Ah, so you are starting to become one with nature. You are going to have to answer it. The world wants to know if you are worthy enough to learn of its secrets.>
After Tsavong began to hear questions Master Nom became very excited. He explained that when Tsavong was ready he would hear the secret that all hunters know, from Zonoma herself. This began a new phase of Tsavong's training. Master Nom would take Tsavong out into the wild, to track animals. He said it was the best way for Tsavong to learn how to be stealthy, for if he could hunt an animal that spends all its time hiding in the wild he could hunt anything.

Tsavong began to learn how to stalk wild animals. His first prey was a simple Brownie. An animal that traversed the underbrush of the jungle. The Brownie is a stupid creature that is very slow and easy to track. Tsavong was being cocky because he thought that tracking a Brownie was a joke. However the training was not about tracking a Brownie. Master Nom was showing Tsavong that he was not the only hunter in the Jungle.
As Tsavong approached the Brownie he was not paying attention to his surroundings and missed the savage Cracker that was also stalking an easy meal. The Cracker saw an even bigger meal then the Brownie and pounced on Tsavong. At the last moment Tsavong heard a rustling in the leaves and turned around. He was greeted by the sight of a snarling Cracker lunging towards him. He quickly brought up his amphistaff and speared the Cracker through the mouth. Tsavong didn't come away from the fight without a scratch. He got clawed across the chest and was bleeding profusely.
Master Nom began yelling at Tsavong,<What did you think this lesson was about! Stalking a Brownie? Anyone can do that! This lesson was that you should respect the jungle. If you do not it will kill you. Now let's get back and get you cleaned up.>
