Name: Celsus Ordo (Pronounced Kel-sus); Alias: Exsul Filius
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Species: Mandalorian (Human)
Homeworld: Wayland
Alignment: Mandalorian Sector
Occupation: Survival, hunting, and training. In short, he lives.
Personality: Celsus takes the world as it is and is naturally independent. He does not believe in anything short of his own abilities and the impact they have on his life. He does try to enjoy the little things in life when he can as he rarely has the time to do so.
In battle he is stoic, calculating, practical, and ruthless. He believes the best battle is none at all and because of this he heavily favors stealth tactics, sniping, and anything else that has the potential to dispatch his enemies quickly without giving them a chance to respond. Knowing his own style, he is constantly alert for, and keenly aware of, enemies attempting anything similar.
As a result of his past, Celsus carries a deep hatred of the Sith. He has next to no ability to tolerate anyone remotely affiliated and, inversely, he supports the Jedi and Republic in their endeavors against them whenever he has the ability to do so.
Appearance: 6’, 0”, 180lbs., short brown hair, dark brown eyes. Celsus has a strong jawline with a straight “pretty” face. He is lean and muscular in his build primarily as a result of his lifestyle. This usually lends itself to help him fight with mobility and speed rather than outright power. He has fairly white skin due to his tendency not to remove his armor, but his most notable feature, was one to see it, is a burn scar that runs diagonally from his left shoulder to his right hip.
Weapons: Celsus’ primary weapon of choice is the disruptor rifle seated diagonally on his back from his right shoulder to his left hip, which he typically uses at long ranges to snipe unsuspecting piles of ash. For shorter range conflicts requiring a quick response time, Celsus carries a Mandalorian Disintegrator style disruptor pistol on his right hip. He also carries several grenades on his left hip, a large dagger on his right thigh, canted forward for easy access, and a red, single-bladed lightsaber just under his left shoulder plate.
Armor/Clothing: Celsus wears his own Mandalorian armor that he has personally customized during his years in exile. The main differences that set it apart from what would be considered “standard” Beskar’gam are an adaptable skin display that shows one of several preset camouflage patterns, a protective mesh woven into the armor’s structure to insulate it’s wearer from electricity, and a full faceplate visor in place of the typical Mandalorian “T” design. While he does not have the jetpack favored by some, as it would block the rifle holster on his back, he does have a sound dampening personal stealth generator belt that allows him to put his stealth capabilities to the utmost use. He has a general supply pack over his left shoulder, just above his holster that contains a variety of items to allow him to go on extended missions such as a med-kit, rations, and other useful items. Because he values the ability to move unnoticed, Celsus’ equipment is all strapped solidly to him so it does not make extraneous noise when he moves.
Vehicle: Celsus’ primary mode of intergalactic travel is his Bes’uliik starfighter, the Astral Shadow, which has been painted matte black, making it nearly impossible to see in the void of space. It is equipped with four R-9x heavy laser cannons and two M-g-2 general purpose warhead launchers. It has also been retrofitted for greater stealth capabilities, which has greatly aided Celsus in his attempts to avoid detection while on the move, but has restricted his secondary seating to only hold one person and minimal supplies.
History: Celsus was born to clan Ordo and grew up on the Mandalorian controlled planet of Wayland. In his home planet’s jungles and amongst its numerous predators he learned the value of stealth during his warrior training. When he came of age he entered the service of the Mandalorian Sector’s armies. For his methods, he was immediately recognized and put into service on infiltration missions. After his first year he was assigned a partner on his missions. She was a female, one year older than him, by the name of Motu Fett. They grew very close to each other over the next two years and were married the day Celsus turned 16.
When he was 19, Celsus and Motu had twins, a boy and a girl named Ferus and Asp respectively. Because of this, they were transferred to Keldabe on Mandalore where Celsus was assigned as the honor guard to one of the entrances of MandalMotors Hall. While this line of work did not suit his tastes, it did provide them with a static location for Motu to raise their children. The first day Celsus was on guard, a sith assassination was attempted on Mand’alor that used his post as the point of entry. In the course of the battle, Celsus engaged the assassin and managed to take his lightsaber, but also received a large gash across his chest in the process. Reinforcements soon arrived and drove the assassin to flee.
Due to several circumstances of the attempt, the blame was placed on Celsus as a Sith spy. Upon realizing he could not convince his fellow Mandalorians otherwise, Celsus escaped. After recovering his own personal effects, he managed to flee the planet in a stolen Bes’uliik starfighter. He has now been on the run for nine years. He is recognized by a vast portion of his people as a high threat criminal, and as such, must constantly avoid bounty hunters and Mandalorians alike. To this end he uses the alias Exsul Filius. He now strives to train himself to the best of his abilities in many different combat styles and track down the Sith who single-handedly destroyed his life, while also evading those who seek to apprehend him.
